A way of living where you naturally tend to become one with your most authentic and creative self as you discover a pace and rhythm that works for you.
this has been a dream for as long as I can remember
This has been a dream for as long as I can remember. I remember the days on which as a teenager I would spend my evenings writing, writing and writing. Writing down my feelings, writing down poems. Reflecting on life.
Writing has always been the easiest way to express myself and my feelings.
With a Venus in Gemini, I think it makes sense that writing has always been my love language and easiest way to transmute my inner realms.
If someone would ever ask me to choose between speaking and writing, without a doubt I would say writing. Writing creates space for the hidden corners of my soul to be transmuted in the most delicate, gentle and subtle ways.
It is with deep gratitude that I am slowly bringing my writings into the world. As I am gently starting to light candles again in the mornings and in the evenings, reaching form my pantoffels and my warmer socks while I can observe the days getting shorter, I feel that the time has come. It is time. I feel ready. And so we begin.
Well to be fairly honest, I have started this project in 2018 already and now slowly it has finally started to take the shape it has been longing to take. Because I now understand that there is no need to reduce this creation to a certain theme or a certain shape. It can be exactly what it's been willing to be: an offering.
This is not just a book. This is an offering. To you as a woman. To the earth. To us as beings. To myself.
Let me present to you: nwayo nwayo
From the Igbo language which is spoken in Nigeria and came to me through my father’s lineage, nwayo nwayo is translated as slowly. Because let’s be honest. What’s up with this rush in our society?

Nwayo nwayo is a collection of ceremonies and rituals immersed with extracts and poems from my journal.
Keeping in mind that life is a ceremony, nwayo nwayo contains some of the teachings I have had the honor to receive during this life time so far. Prepare yourself to be taken away through the beauty of storytelling infused with personal insights and in depth magic.
